The overarching element prevailing through the organisation is one of hope. We use the art form of dance to raise money for our organisation, by way of hosting a dance production at a prestigious theatre, where professional performers give of their time freely to participate in this production. The organisation has been endorsed by some of the most prominent dance companies in South Africa, which ensures that the productions are kept to the highest standard as well as uniting the dancing community. We strive to leave our patrons with a feeling of hope, life and light, as well as to create awareness and to educate the patrons as to the latest research and vaccinations available.
The funds raised are then used to vaccinate children with the three courses of the vaccine. During this opportunity that we have with the children, we educate them about how one develops cervical cancer and why we are vaccinating them, and how to look after their bodies as well as to know their bodies.

“unbelievable entertainment, I laughed and I cried”
Set eight months after the death of 116 children during the Aberfan Disaster of 1966, The Revlon Girl tells the real-life story of a group of bereaved mothers who met every week above a local hotel to talk, cry, and even laugh without feeling guilty.
Having watched the play at the Maboneng pop-up theatre I have the following to share about this must watch!!!! Absolutely moving. The level of emotion that all the actresses take you through. I have no children of my own, however I was taken through the emotion that one feels after losing a child. A fantastic performance by talented actresses. A definite must watch. Might I add that this play received a standing ovation from the entire audience at the Maboneng pop-up theatre.

The best play I have seen for many years. The performances are outstanding, and the characters are representations of humanity with whom the audience can easily connect. The play effectively blends humour and sadness. I recommend this play to all theatre goers who appreciate productions that present complex and profound aspects of the human experience in an accessible manner.

An incredibly moving story from a cast and crew of seasoned veterans. A strong presence, impeccable pacing and fleshed out characters made this an unforgettable production for a tragedy that shouldn’t be forgotten.
